HOW TO QUALIFY

You can qualify to compete in the 2020 National Pageant in several ways, including:

Ways To Qualify For the National Pageant

Compete in a 2020 State Preliminary competition. If you are the winner, your national Sponsorship fee will be paid by the state pageant. Note, other costs of participation apply.

If there is no preliminary competition covering your state (note, there are multi-state preliminaries) you can apply directly to Nationals for an Appointed title.

Legacy queens who have previously competed at Nationals are invited to compete again with an Appointed title, even if there is a state preliminary in their home state.

All delegates will compete for national titles in their division, including: Miss American Jr. Teen, Miss American Teen, Miss American Collegiate, and Miss All-American. State Princesses will compete for national titles in their division, including: Miss American Jr. Princess, Miss American Princess and Miss American Pre-Teen.

*The Miss American Teen and Collegiate Pageant reserves the right to change the hotel venue with reasonable advance notice.
Divisions
Note: Applicable Division is determined by the participant's age as of the first day of the National Pageant.

Jr. Teen (13 - 15 years)
Teen (16 - 18 years)
